cyclop-video

Media Player is the music and video player of Cyclop OS. It is built on GStreamer, GTK4 and libadwaita, so it follows the look of the rest of the desktop. A sidebar leads to Home, the music library (albums, artists, songs, search), the video library, the play queue, saved playlists and settings. It plays local files and network streams, shows chapters and subtitles, has an equalizer, trims videos without touching the original, shows a Now playing view with the album cover and a spectrum, and exposes MPRIS so the media keys and the shell controls work. It replaces Cyclop Music: installing it removes the cyclop-music package. It is based on Clapper by Rafal Dzieciol and is free software, GPL-3+ for the application and LGPL-2.1+ for the libraries. The libraries are private to this package and installed under /usr/lib/<multiarch>/cyclop-video, so they do not conflict with any other Clapper package.
